Signs of an Opioid Overdose
Recognizing the signs of an opioid overdose can save a life. Here are some things to look for:
- Small, “pinpoint pupils”
- Extremely pale face
- Slow, weak, or no breathing
- Unable to be awakened
- Unable to speak
- Choking or gurgling sounds
- Limp body
- Cold and/or clammy skin
- Purple or blue-colored fingernails or lips
- Vomiting
